Cash For Kids is a non-profit organization serving families with children who have Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) in the New Orleans area! Through our own experiences with our Heart Warrior, Cash, we understand the journey that goes well beyond the day of surgery! Our goal is to assist families with resources that bring HOPE as they walk through their own CHD journey. 
As we move forward, establishing our non-profit status has been an exciting goal to meet! We put no limits on what the future holds for Cash for Kids, but to begin with we want to help local families in a tangible way. We want to use the monies raised through our Gumbo Cook-Off to provide grants to local CHD families. These grants will specifically be to help pay for some of the unexpected living expenses that come along with a CHD Journey.
